Throughout the day students will be encouraged to only speak Spanish. Instructors, chefs as well as tour and excursion guides will use games, indoor and outdoor activities, grammar lessons, listening activities, and speaking exercises to further develop listening and speaking in Spanish. Several nights students will have Spanish cooking lessons with a private chef. Students will also keep a daily Spanish journal where they can explain what they did each day and will be encouraged to include photos.
Students will get the opportunity to visit and volunteer at a local elementary school where they will work with some of the under-privileged kids in the area and give them back to school kits provided by Villas Del Rey. This will create a meaningful experience for both our students and the underprivileged kids in Costa Rica, which will open minds and set all students on a path towards international cooperation and leadership.
